Hello and welcome to my blog where I talk about trending topics, television, news, and public relations.
I’m interested in pursing a career in television journalism in regional and country Australia in places like Tamworth or Rockhampton. I have always had a passion for news, and from an early age I would tell people when I grew up I wanted to be a newsreader. Now that I’m older, I understand why I had a passion: I want to be an honest journalist that speaks nothing but the truth and can hold myself accountable. Everyone has a story to tell, and I think I’m the person that can recount their stories the most accurately, balanced, and honestly.
If journalism doesn’t work out for me, I’m looking at taking pursuing a career relating to my public relations major. I’m particularly interested in social media strategy and campaign implementation within the FMCG industry.
And so this is my journey: a blog that explores every angle of journalistic style. Everyone needs to start somewhere, and this is where I will start – and I need all the support I can get.
I’m originally from a property in regional Australia on the border of QLD and NSW. I grew up in a world that’s very different to the one I now know. I moved to Toowoomba as a boarder at Fairholme College where I completed high school from 2006-2010. I’m now living in Brisbane and studying Communication and Journalism at the University of Queensland.
I welcome suggestions and constructive criticism. If you want to get in contact with me, shoot me an email firstname.lastname@example.org, and I’ll get back to you. Feel free to link up with me on LinkedIn also – I love meeting new people and hearing their stories.
I’m trying to make my mark in the cyberworld, so comment, like, share with your cyberfriends my blog that rambles about nothing and everything.
